Halton company hailed one of Britain's best employers

A HOUSING association has been named as ‘one to watch’ in a national survey of Britain’s best employers.

Halton Housing Trust, which owns and manages more than 6, 100 homes in Runcorn and Widnes, received the recognision in the Best Companies Survey.

Nick Atkin, the trust’s chief executive, said: “We’re really pleased to have been recognised as this provides an external view of how far we have come as well as supporting our plans for further improving our offer as an employer of choice.

“We take great pride in supporting all our employees and creating a very different ultra modern, flexible and vibrant workplace for everyone.”

Vikki Mack, aged 40, of Frodsham, PA to the chief executive, said: “It is a forward thinking organisation that has allowed me to develop my skills and career.

“I have developed our nominated charities work into a widely recognised scheme.”
