Man accused of serious sexual assault of woman, 24, in Widnes

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Widnes, Cheshire Police announced today.
The 20-year-old was arrested yesterday and bailed pending further enquiries.
It follows allegations by a 24-year-old Widnes woman that she was seriously sexually assaulted at around 1.30am on Saturday, January 28.
The incident happened on Browning Avenue at its junction with Masefield Avenue.
