GETTING stuck in a large dress in a changing room shocked bride-to-be Amy Keelan.

She realised she had to take drastic action before she walked down the aisle.

Amy, aged 28, of Preston Brook, Runcorn, said: “It was horrible. I laugh about it now but I was panicking.

“I was a dancer and did high kick boxing but with vending machines in the canteen, you have additional calories.

“I didn’t want to be an overweight bride.”

She quit smoking, stopped snacking and started power walking.

Customer service manager Amy, who met her husband, Chris, aged 32, at Runcorn’s 02 Call Centre, plummetted from a size 18 to a trim size 8.

She has now helped staff shed more than 40 stone after launching a Shape Shifters health and fitness club.

Some employees have discovered hidden health problems.

Facilities manager, Sara Finnigan, aged 41, from Warrington, said: “I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. If it wasn’t for this club, I wouldn’t have known I had a medical condition.”

Customer service advisor Sarah Jones, aged 34, of Widnes, said: “I have lost three stone and 10lbs and feel fantastic.

“I feel so much more confident and I am enjoing life so much more now.”
