FAMOUS authors and fascinating talks proved a big success at Runcorn’s Halton Lea Library.
More than 230 people attended Halton Council’s paranormal week, with visitors travelling from as far as Wiltshire and Cumbria.
Organiser, Janette Fleming, reader development officer at Halton libraries, said: “It was encouraging to see so many people committing to every evening for a week to attend the events.”
The events showcased local authors, Mark Rosney and Kevin McCann, and introduced up and coming writer, Adam Neville, from London.
Highlights included author and TV star, Mark Olly, and Britain’s most respected living horror writer, Ramsey Campbell.
