ENTHUSIASTIC women team up regularly for a knit and a natter at The Brindley.
They belong to the Wednesday Woolies, a drop-in knitting, stitching and crochet group that meets on the first and third Wedesday of the month, from 3pm to 5pm.
It is free and caters for all levels, from beginners to experienced knitters and stitchers.
Local artist Carys Hughes leads the group, which is funded by Halton Council.
There are now more than a dozen regulars, who meet in the foyer to swap patters, learn new skills, have fun and share a laugh.
For more information, call Carys Hughes on 07403 427634 or e-mail carysanne@hotmail.com
