A CRACKDOWN on drug related crime has led to seven more warrants being executed by police officers across Runcorn.
Ten people were arrested and illegal drugs and cash seized after police officers acted on tip-offs from residents.
Sgt Andy Delooze, of Runcorn Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “Illegal drugs are an issue we take extremely seriously.
“The local community is providing us with valuable information in relation to suspected drug use and supply.”
A 48-year old man received a caution for possession of cannabis after drugs were discovered at a house in Thorn Road.
Class A drugs were seized from Birch Road, where a 39-year-old man was given a caution for possession.
A 30-year-old man received a caution after cannabis and equipment related to the production of cannabis was found in Halton Brook Avenue.
Heroin and cannabis were taken from Framlington Court, Castlefields and a 33 -year-old man received a caution for possession of controlled drugs.
Two men, aged 18 and 19 from Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs after drugs and cash were seized in Navigation Close, Murdishaw. Both were bailed pending further enquiries.
A 17-year-old man riding a motorbike in Castlefields was stopped by police carrying cannabis. He was arrested for possession and intent to supply and bailed pending further enquiries.
Cannabis, amphetamine and cash were seized in Woodridge, Windmill Hill.
A 42-year-old man was charged with possession of cannabis, intent to supply, supplying cannabis, possession of amphetamine and money laundering.
A 41-year-old woman was also arrested and bailed.
Cannabis was discovered at another address in Woodridge and a 41-year-old woman received a caution for possession of the drug.
