BIG-HEARTED volunteers made a hotpot lunch and raised £770 for three local cancer charities.
The event, at Trinity Methodist Church Hall in Widnes, on Saturday was hailed a huge success.
Janet McCollam, one of the volunteers, said: “It went very well and got quite busy.
“We’d like to say a big thank-you to everyone for their support.”
There were stalls, a tombola and a raffle.
Their proceeds will be shared between Halton Haven Hospice, Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Group and Macmillan Cancer Care.
