Bridge Timber progressed through to the next round after scoring 7 against a spirited West Bank side.

West Bank, who matched Bridge for the first 30 minutes although after bringing a good save from Andy Stringer in the 13th minute a 4 man move involving Liam Sweeney,Karl Thomas and Connor Taylor ended with Kev Ward bringing a good save from the West Bank keeper.

Kev Ward also had a good shot blocked after Ste Hickson unselfishly pulled the ball back before on 32 minutes,Connor Taylor split the defence with a neat pass and Karl Jenkins side footed home from 10 yards for 1-0. Mike Chesters showed some skill and was brought down on 36 minutes, the resulting free kick was swung in with accuracy by Kev Ward, Connor Taylor rising above everyone else with a powerful header for 2-0. Ste Hickson created the 3rd after showing some dazzling skill on the left, after turning the defender inside out, crossed with pinpoint accuracy for Thomas Whalley to easily head home for a deserved 3-0 lead. Karl Thomas was instrumental in number 4, after winning the ball in midfield, his through ball to Ste Hickson caused panic in the West Bank defence, Hickson putting Kev Ward in and Ward made no mistake with a near post shot for 4-0.

A great tackle from Connor Taylor contributed to number 5, after finding Kev Ward on the right, Ward fired hard into the top corner form 20 yards which was arguably the best finish of the game. Number 6 was soon after after Ste Hickson again had a hand in punishing West Bank,Kev Ward again showing his ruthless streak with a good finish before a quick free kick involving Jay o Brien with Karl Thomas dummying the ball, Kev Wards left footed shot put Bridge 7 up.

Connor Taylor was Bridge Timbers man of the match, altough Kev Ward ran him close with a 4 goal haul.
