Runcorn and Widnes firms urged to profit from America

AS the race for the White House hots up across the pond, a number of Halton firms will have the opportunity to join together for a special American-themed conference in Runcorn.

While US voters head to the polling booths on Tuesday, November 4, local businesses can join together at The Heath Business Park – to learn more about how to profit in the American market.

Organiser Eric Hudson, Halton Chamber’s executive vice-chair, has linked up with the Greater Richmond Partnership from Virginia to offer local firms an insight into the commercial opportunities in the US.

Free workshops on the day will include detailed analyses of science, technology, communications and creative media opportunities, as well as the legal implications of doing business in America and how to finance your growth in the US.

Mr Hudson explained: “This event will offer outward-looking British businesses a chance to discuss real opportunities on the Eastern Seaboard of America. The Greater Richmond Partnership includes dozens of companies which want to trade globally and make real, tangible connections with firms in Halton and across the north west.
