A TEEN from Halton addressed the House of Commons in the UK Youth Parliament.

On Friday, February 28, more than 400 Youth MPs from across the country gathered to discuss important issues and vote on campaigns for the coming year.

Among the speakers were 14-year-old Finlay Venables from Halton and Vin from St Helens, who were chosen to contribute to the debate on transport.

Finlay Venables, member of the Youth Parliament (MYP) for Halton, said: "Visiting the House of Commons and the Chamber was an unforgettable experience that will be ingrained in my mind forever.
