THE proud team at a nursery in Runcorn are celebrating after receiving two praising reviews.

Heathside Nursery secured a high grading of good by Ofsted after a recent inspection.

It was highlighted by an inspector on the day how ‘the new manager has created a sequenced and exciting curriculum for all children’.

Followed by further praise, with them noting that ‘children are confident communicators who enjoy taking part in discussions with the staff and their friends’.

A spokesperson for the nursery said: “The nursery has been on an incredible journey and now under the management of Hayley Hughes, Nursery Manager, we can see the nursery growing from strength to strength.

They added that the inspection ran ‘very smoothly’ on the day.

“This allowed the team demonstrate the impact we have every day for the children and families within our community,” they said.

As detailed within the report, staff relationships with parents are strong as ‘staff take time to get to know children and their parents when they first join the setting’.

As well as a praising report from the education watchdogs, Heathside also were awarded a five-star hygiene rating from an environmental health officer (EHO).

A spokesperson from the team added: “We would like to thank all of our families for your continued support and for allowing us to care and develop your children every day.”
