A HALTON school has confirmed it will be able to reopen tomorrow, Tuesday.
The Grange Academy, an all-through school for pupils aged three to 16 in Runcorn, was forced to close its doors today.
Pupils were told to stay at home following an issue with the heating system.
In a statement this morning on social media, the school said: “Urgent message – school will be closed to all students today due to a lack of gas, meaning there is no heating or hot water.
“Please share this message with other parents and carers.
“School will be reopening tomorrow. If there is any change to this, we will let parents and carers know before the end of the day today.”
In an update this afternoon, The Grange added: “School will reopen for all pupils tomorrow.
“The issues leading to the school closure today have been resolved.
“School will reopen tomorrow for all students, with heating, hot water and cooking facilities in the kitchen.”
