FILMING of a new ITV drama starring a Happy Valley legend has been spotted taking place at Runcorn Shopping City.
The filming, believed to be for a true crime drama Protection, has been taking place at various locations around the centre.
Siobhan Finneran, known for playing Clare in Happy Valley and Janice on Benidorm, was seen on set in the shopping city car park.
And filming was also spotted taking place outside Reel Time Amusements and Hays Travel inside the shopping centre itself.
MP for Weaver Wale Mike Amesbury shared images of the filming on Facebook yesterday, Wednesday.
And earlier in the week, he also shared footage of filming taking place on roads outside the shopping city near KFC which is close to his constituency office.
