A PACKAGING firm welcomed sports stars and dignitaries to its plant to celebrate a major milestone.
Diageo GB, based at Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn, was joined by Sale Sharks stars Nathan Bonner-Evans and Julien Laharrague, and Runcorn MP Mike Hall after packaging its 10 millionth keg of Guniness.
Diageo's packaging director, David Varnan, said: "It is a special occasion for everyone at Diageo Runcorn to be celebrating the production of our 10 millionth keg."
Since July 2005, the company has been the UK's sole supplier of Guinness.
