A YOUNG actress looks set for a glittering stage career after performing in a major musical production.
Year 7 pupil Lauren McMahon, who attends Sts Peter and Paul Catholic College, in Widnes, appeared in the star-studded Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Liverpool Empire.
The 12-year-old, of Widnes, said: "This has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life."
Lauran got the chance to work with celebrated director Bill Kenwright as well as Keith Jack, Craig Chalmers and Chris Barton, who were all finalists in TV show Any Dream Will Do, during the show in February.
Gus Van Cauwelaert, head teacher at Sts Peter and Paul, said: "Lauren's success comes from dedication and hard work which typifies her attitude to all aspects of college life.
"We are very proud of you Lauren and look forward to seeing you collect your Oscar in the future."
