Bridge bounce back.
Bridge Timber bounced back from last weeks defeat with a 8-0 mauling of Chemics, Timber took the lead after 6 mnins when Kev Wards cross was headed by Andy Gott. Lewis Watson split the Chemics defence with a great pass to leave Karl Thomas one on one, Thomas made it 2-0 , side footing home from 20 yards. A great 4 man move saw Timber go further ahead, Lewis Watson, Lewis Buckley and Andy Gott involved with Gott supplying the cross for Kev Ward to head home at the far post for 3-0. Kev patterson added the fourth with a spectacular 30 yarder to make it 4-0 at the break. Lewis Buckley hit the post after his trickery created an opening before Paul Wilsons mazy run saw Karl Thomas score from a diving header to make it 5.Lee Evans, Ste Coady and lewis Watson thwarted every Chemics attack with Andy Stringer in the bridge goal largely untroubled.Kev Ward squared for Karl Thomas to make it 6 after he chested down and side footed homer from 18 yards and then Ward scored himself after he received the ball and ran through and turned the defender inside out before firing home from the edge of the box. Kev Ward made it 8-0 with a great shot form just outside the box to make the final score 8-0. Kev Ward was Bridge Timbers star man with him being a constant threat to Chemics all game.
