FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property after a blaze broke out in the boiler room.
Three fire engines attended the home on Wilmere Lane, Widnes shortly after 7.45am on Friday.
Crews attended to the fire in the basement of the address, in the boiler room.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire
They then used a large fan to disperse the smoke while continuing to damp down the area.
