A FAST food restaurant in Widnes was evacuated due to a gas leak.
The premises on Widnes Shopping Park was evacuated shortly after 5pm yesterday, Saturday.
Three fire engines attended the scene, with crews – who were on scene for 40 minutes – isolated the mains gas supply.
