A RUNCORN company held an open day to help attract electrical apprentices.
KDE Limited hosted the event at their head office in Sutton Weaver.
Alex Higgins, customer experience manager, said: "We were inundated with potential electrical apprentices and a great number of visitors attended.
"We had some of our current apprentices, electricians and management team having a chat with candidates and letting them know their experiences.
"We had stands set up so the apprentices could have a go at some basic tasks."
The recruitment event was hailed a huge success.
Alex added: "We have secured various new contracts over the past few months and apprentices play a huge part in our daily operation of ensuring delivering outstanding service to our clients.
"Apprentices are a massive part of our business in our aim of becoming the region’s leading electrical, fire alarm and Plumbing Heating company.
"We met some great enthusiastic individuals who we hope to work with in the future."
Total People also attended the event to offer advice to apprentices.
