TWELVE strangers find themselves absorbed in a murder trial that will change their lives forever.

The world premier of a new musical The Jury opens at The Brindley on Wednesday July 18 and runs until Saturday.

Jason Schofield has been charged with the murder of his wife and is claiming self-defence.

After an eternity of waiting, the controversial case has finally come to trial and it’s up to 12 strangers to decide his fate.

This fly on the wall production explores issues surrounding domestic violence, gender equality and mental health.

The pressure is on to unanimously decide on a verdict but the jury is completely divided.

What really happened on that night? Was it cold blooded murder?

Was Emily Schofield really the victim here?

Starring local professional actors and West End performer Ben Cupit, this intense musical will have you on the edge of your seat.

The evidence is tainted and the rules are abandoned.

The jury finally concludes on a verdict - but is it the right one?

Tickets priced £18.50/£16.50 are available from the box office on 0151 907 8360 and thebrindley.org.uk. Performances start at 7.30pm and there is a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.
