Reader puzzled about the sudden flow of water in Keckwick Brook
KECKWICK Brook runs from Preston Brook through Sandymoor and has been little no more than a gentle trickle since the last rain several weeks ago.
Last week it was in full flow, several feet deep, so either I have missed days of heavy rain in the Daresbury or Preston Brook area or the Bridgewater Canal is being drained. Intrigued.
Can you help explain this?
