Firefighters rescue cow stranded in the Bridgewater Canal near Seaford Close in Runcorn
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a cow stuck in the Bridgewater Canal in Runcorn.
Crews used an inflatable boat to herd the cow to safety near Seaford Close shortly at 8.15pm last night.
One fire engine from Runcorn and the rope rescue unit from Lymm were at the scene for more than two hours.
