Crews tackle container fire on Tan House Lane in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a container fire in the early hours of this morning.
Crews were called to Tan House Lane in Widnes shortly after midnight and used a hose reel jet to put out the flames.
Firefighters also dealt with a bin fire on Castlefields Avenue East in Runcorn at 11.30pm last night.
Crews used a bucket of water to put out the fire.
