Firefighters tackle a van fire on Kilncroft in Brookvale, Runcorn and an arson attack on a skip on French Street in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a van fire in the early hours of this morning.
Crews discovered a vehicle well alight on Kilncroft in Brookvale in Runcorn shortly before 4am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Shortly after midnight firefighters were called to a skip fire on French Street in Widnes.
Crews used two hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
