Crews were called at 1.15pm to Lighthouse Road to extinguish the blaze after it had spread from a lit bonfire.
Half an hour later, firefighters were called to reports of a tumble dryer at a property on Dereham Way in Runcorn.
Wearing two breathing apparatus, firefighters tackled the fire with one hose reel and a ventilation fan until the fire was extinguished.
