A TEENAGE cyclist is lucky to be alive after being involved in a bus crash.
This picture shows all that is left of the mangled wreck of the boy's bike as a wheel came off and it careered into the grass verge.
The 14-year-old swerved in front of a bus while riding on the wrong side of the road on Runcorn busway.
Miraculously he was not injured.
The incident happened at around 6pm on the busway between The Brow and Castlefields.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "Police were called at 6.09pm to Halton Brow after a report of a collision between a bus and a cyclist.
"Thankfully the cyclist only received minor injuries and was then taken home by police."
