A 12-year-old schoolboy was taken to Whiston Hospital after being involved in a crash on Highfield Road in Widnes
A SCHOOLBOY cyclist was injured after being involved in a collision with a car.
The 12-year-old boy was taken to Whiston Hospital shortly after 7.30am this morning.
The accident happened on Highfield Road near Saints Peter and Paul Catholic College.
Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before taking him to hospital.
