TWO children were taken to hospital after a crash in Widnes.
The youngsters were passengers in a car which was involved in a collision between a Jaguar and a Mercedes on Chapel Lane in Widnes at around 8.40am this morning.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: "Two children were taken to Whiston Hospital. It is not believed they were seriously injured."
Two women were also involved in the collision.
Road closures are still in place.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Chapel Lane at the junction of Smithy Lane is still closed as the council remove oil from the road and vehicles are recovered.
"There is no indication of any serious injury."
