A WIDNES driver has been ordered to pay £290 after using someone else’s disabled blue badge to park her car on double yellow lines - in Warrington.
Janine Daw, 45, of Laurel Bank, was summoned to appear at Warrington Magistrates court on May 9 after she failed to pay a penalty charge to Warrington Borough Council.
Daw pleaded guilty to one offence of disabled blue badge misuse by post.
She displayed a blue badge belonging to someone else and parked on double yellow lines in Warrington town centre without the permission of the registered blue badge holder.
The court fined Daw £40 on top of a £70 penalty, £150 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
