THE Mersey Gateway will be lit up in pink and green tonight to raise awareness of a misunderstood disease.
During Huntington's Disease awareness week campaigners are trying to shine a light on this condition which can be very distressing and frustrating for the person with the condition as well as their loved ones and carers.
The disease is a condition that stops part of the brain working properly over time.
It is inherited from parents and gets gradually worse over time.
