Firefighters tackle two rubbish fires on Factory Lane and Dundalk Road in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS have tackled two rubbish fires in Widnes.
Crews were called to Factory Lane shortly before 9pm last night and used a hand appliance to extinguish a small rubbish fire near to a wooded area.
Another small refuse fire broke out on Dundalk Road an hour laer.
Firefighters used a hose reel to put out the blaze.
