FANS of swing and hot jazz are in for a treat when the Pasadena Roof Orchestra come to Runcorn's Brindley Theatre.
The orchestra was formed 50 years ago and is still going strong.
Their show includes famous tunes such as Puttin' on the Ritz, Sweet Georgia Brown, The Lullaby of Broadway as well as hot hits from the 1920s such as Duke Ellington’s Black and Tan Fantasy and numbers that were sung by Al Bowlly and arranged by Ray Noble.
Laced with a liberal dose of British humour in its presentation, this is an evening made for those who love swing and 20s and 30s music.
The orchestra will be performing at 7.30pm on Sunday, June 3.
