FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a shop fire in Runcorn.
Crews were called to a convenience shop in Village Square, Castlefields at around 10.45pm last night.
A fire involving an industrial freezer had been extinguished by staff before firefighters arrived.
Crews used a large fan to clear smoke in the shop and were at the scene for around an hour.
Earlier in the evening, firefighters tackled a suspicious motorbike fire in Kingshead Close on the same housing estate.
The vehicle was well alight when crews arrived shortly before 9pm.
The motorbike was completely destroyed in the fire.
Crews believe the fire had been started deliberately.
