A DRIVER had a lucky escape after this car ploughed through a hedge on a blind bend and ended up in a Widnes field.
Police were called by paramedics after reports of a grey Kia car having hit a bollard on Cronton Road by Alder Lane.
Karen Bowness-Major said: "I went passed it. There were about 8-10 cars stopped. It had only just happened.
"The car was actually on its side in the field."
Clare Bear said: "This picture was posted to prevent other accidents occurring as it is on a blind bend."
Sarah Chesters added: "Went past it, didn't realise the car had gone in the field. Seen a man walking to the ambulance.
"He looked in shock."
