A NEW member of staff has been recruited to help children with cerebral palsy gain more independence.

Becca Davies has taken up her role as a conductor at the charity Stick ‘n’ Step Runcorn centre, which opened last year at Tudor Hall on York Street.

The graduate worked at a special school with a conductive education programme in southern England before recently returning to her north west roots.

Becca is particularly experienced with early years education and children with very complex needs.

Chief executive of Stick ‘n’ Step Amy Couture, said:”Conductive education is an extremely specialised field and we are so pleased to have recruited such a high calibre candidate for this role.”

The charity provides children with free conductive education sessions, which improves mobility, independence and self confidence, enabling every child to reach their personal potential.
