THE Westbrook Big Party is set to return to Gulliver’s World for the third time.

Last year, around 1,700 visitors descended on the fair which was organised by the Westbrook and Callands Communities Association.

The event will take place on Friday, June 15 from 5.30pm to 9pm.

Alan Guthrie, chairman, said: “Gulliver’s World are very kindly hosting this event for free.

“It is an opportunity for residents in the WA5 postcode area to learn more about community organisations that may be of interest to them.

“The big party is part of our efforts to bring people together, as a way of making Westbrook and Callands a great place to live.”

St Philip (Westbrook) CE Primary School choir and other acts will take to the stage and emergency services personnel will be on hand to talk to the next generation of officers, paramedics and firefighters.

There will be selection of Gulliver’s attractions open for free including the RAF Heritage Centre.

“There will be something for people of all ages,” added Alan.

“We want it to remain a communal event for local people, so naturally you will need proof of residence in WA5.”
