IMAGINATIVE dancers wowed a packed audience with their moving interpretation of The Snow Queen.

Students from the professional dance programme at the Centre of Excellence for Performing Arts at Cronton Sixth Form College staged the production at The Brindley.

Dramatic ensemble pieces and incredible solo performances were set to a powerful soundtrack.

The show attracted a lot of positive feedback.

One spectator said: “Well done for a beautiful performance. It was the best one yet. I am looking forward to seeing how the dancers will top this with their next show!”

Benjamin Musa, artistic director and course leader for the professional dance programme, said: “I couldn’t have been prouder of the dancers.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work on it over the past few months.

“I always think that we will never be able to top the previous show but the current students smashed it out of the park with The Snow Queen.

“The level of talent with the current dancers is like nothing we have seen before. We are unbelievably proud of all of them and the success of the show.”

Students are now start planning their next exciting dance productions, Alice in April and The Tributes in June.
