Firefighters tackle skip fire in Runcorn
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a skip fire in Runcorn in the early hours today, Saturday.
At around 1am the crew, from Runcorn, attended the scene, on Davy Road.
On arrival the crew found that the fire involved a large skip containing paper-based products.
They gained access to the site using a ladder before using a hose reel jet and a main jet to extinguish it.
