Firefighters tackle fire in car compound on Finlan Road in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in Widnes.
Crews were called to a vehicle recovery compound on Finlan Road shortly after 11pm to reports of a car well alight.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
