Firefighters tackle rubbish fire on Bechers in Hough Green, Widnes
VANDALS torched a large pile of rubbish in Widnes.
Firefighters tackled the fire on Bechers in Hough Green shortly before 8pm last nigiht.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters say the fire had been started deliberately.
Anyone with information can call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
