TWO men were seriously injured following a disturbance outside a Runcorn bar.
Police officers were called to a street brawl between a gang of men outside Bank Chambers on High Street at 1.30am on Christmas Day.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said today: “Officers swiftly attended the scene and found there had been an altercation between a group of men.”
A 34-year-old man from Liverpool sustained a slash wound to his face and was taken to Aintree Hospital.
A 22-year-old man from Runcorn was taken to Whiston Hospital with serious injuries.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are currently on-going and detectives are appealing for witnesses.
