FAMILIES met panto stars when they turned up to watch the spectacular fireworks display from the Brindley café terrace.
Sleeping Beauty panto star Rebecca Lake and Andrew Curphey, Chester the Jester chatted to lots of children.
Thousands of spectators lined the riverbank in Runcorn and Widnes to watch the dazzling display beside the Silver Jubilee bridge last night.
Marie Finch, from West Bank, said: “It was the best I have ever seen.
“Every section of the display was different with lots of unusual fireworks and timed to perfection to film music.”
Kimberley Louise Behn said: “Had another fantastic display this year! Really enjoyed it with my family.”
