BUDDING young gymasts were thrilled to meet former Olympian Beth Tweddle.
The retired gymnast met pupils at St Michael’s Catholic Primary School in Ditton, Widnes.
Beth who represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games came into the school to talk about Total Gymnastics Academies.
Gym enthusiasts Elizabeth Popova, Ruby Kennedy, Isabelle Adams, Maddy Lyons and Georgia Adams had the opportunity to ask Beth some questions about her training with school PE co-ordinator Lizzy Owens.
Elizabeth Popova brought in a photograph of herself and Beth in Cardiff from 2012.
Beth was the first female gymnast from Great Britain to win a medal at the European Championships, World Championships, and Olympic Games.
