A BONFIRE party is being held at The Brindley in Runcorn.

Spectators can get a bird’s eye view of the fireworks display from the theatre’s canalside terrace cafe on Sunday, November 5 from 6pm to 8pm.

Panto star Rebecca Lake who plays Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty will be there to meet families along with Andrew Curphey who is Chester the jester.

The party is free and there will be balloon modelling and face painting.

Hot food and snacks will be available to buy from the café.

A sing-a-long Beauty and the Beast is being shown at 2pm in the theatre.

The fireworks start beside the Silver Jubilee in the River Mersey at 7.30pm.

Thousands are expected to watch the free show St Mary’s Road in West Bank, Widnes and Mersey Road in Runcorn.

Some streets will be closed and diversions in place.

Residents living in West Bank and Mersey Road will have to show ID to gain access.
