A vehicle and bin torched in separate arson attacks
A VEHICLE was torched in Widnes in an early morning arson attack.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire on Luton Street shortly after midnight yesterday.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews were also called to a bin fire on Sanders Hey Close in Brookvale, Runcorn at around 9.30pm yesterday.
The bin was well alight when firefighters arrived.
Crews used a bucket of water to put out the fire.
The incident is believed to have been arson.
