Firefighters tackle tumble dryer fire
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a tumble dryer fire in Runcorn.
A house on Park Road was well alight when crews arrived.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and large fan to clear smoke from the property.
The fire broke out shortly after 9pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines from Runcorn dealt with the incident.
Crews were at the scene for almost two hours.
