Firefighters rescue woman trapped in car following collision on Moor Lane, Widnes
A WOMAN trapped in a car following a collision in Widnes was rescued by firefighters.
Paramedics gave the casualty oxygen therapy while emergency crews waited for an ambulance.
Crews say three cars were involved in the collision on Moor Lane at around 1.30pm yesterday.
Firefighters helped the woman into an ambulance and she was taken to hospital.
Crews made the scene safe.
Another collision happened in Widnes at around 1pm.
Firefighters were called to Wilmere Lane following an accident.
