Halton mayor and mayoress Cllrs Alan and Joan Lowe are appealing for donations for their charity tombola stall
THE mayor of Halton is holding a charity tombola stall at the North West Vintage Steam Rally in Victoria Park, Widnes on September 23 and 24.
Cllr Alan Lowe is raising funds for Halton Speak Out and HEARTS (Halton Entertainment Arts Regional Theatre School).
He is appealing for donations of unwanted gifts, toys, bric-a-brac and books.
Items can be dropped off at municipal building on Kingsway for the attention of Kay Sparks or at Runcorn Town Hall for the attention of John Whittaker.
All items are required no later than Wednesday, September 20.
Admission to the two-day rally is free.
