Firefighters tackle wheelie bin fire on Grangemoor
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a wheelie bin fire in Runcorn in the early hours of this morning.
Crews discovered the burning bin close to a garage and street lighting on Grangemoor just before 1am.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to bring the blaze under control.
The garage was not affected but there was some damage to the street light.
Police also attended as the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
