TWO Widnes dancers have won auditions for stage shows.
Maisie Hughes, from Farnworth, has been selected from hundreds of hopefuls to perform in Her Benny at the Liverpool Empire.
The 11-year-old has just left St Bede’s Catholic Primary School.
Maisie has been training at the Karina Burns Dance Academy for four years studying for exams in modern, tap and ballet.
Lauren Helsby, from Hough Green, has been chosen as a senior dancer in the Sleeping Beauty panto at The Brindley.
The 15-year-old has been studying dance for eight years and enjoys all aspects of musical theatre.
The Ormiston Chadwick Academy pupil hopes to turn her hobby into a career.
Both students are rehearsing for a dance extravaganza One Night Only featuring adaptations from musicals and Las Vegas show girls.
